My Diaper Reviews

Before purchasing my own diapers, I did a trial service from a local diaper shoppe. This gave me a very good idea of how different diaper systems worked, washed and wore.

Before I get into my review, I think it needs to be clear that there really is no absolutely fair way to judge a diaper as the "best" or "worst", because from what I've experienced this is largely going to depend on the uniqueness of your baby. Some wet more, some have higher waistlines, some are chubbier, etc. All of these factors are going to affect diapers differently, and some will shine while others will fail on one baby, and be completely opposite on the next.

So instead of focus on whether a diaper is amazing or an absolute fail, I'm going to focus mostly on the strengths of each diaper type, and if something doesn't work for me, I'm going to present these facts based on how I encountered them. For example, if a fit isn't just right, I'll explain what didn't work for me from an objective position (eg. my little one's legs were too chubby or his waist was too high). Naturally, if something is terrible or is a shoddy product (eg. fabric leaks all the time using several different samples), I'll be sure to let you (and the manufacturer) know!

Being the diaper addict that I am quickly becoming, this section is likely going to be the most active. Eventually I hope to have reviewed enough diapers on my infant son to give you a good idea of what will work best for you!
